HOLY SKIN TATTOO IN WANAKA
Ever since taking over management of Holy Skin Tattoo Wanaka at the start of 2017 Nathan’s vision for the studio was one of a warm welcoming, inclusive, friendly space where everyone in the community could feel comfortable to come in, hang out & discuss their ideas for the tattoos they dreamed of.
No matter how big or small, without fear of judgement or if other people would think it’s “cool”
If it’s important to our clients, it’s important to us to give them the very best piece of art we can & make them feel like they are very much just as vital to the design process as anything else.
To this day we’re proud to call our “clients” friends & strive to not just create an awesome tattoo but give them the experience they deserve

Nathan took over the management of Holy Skin back in January 2017
After working & travelling to various countries around the world, he was keen to have a studio with a friendly, inclusive, welcoming persona, that was part of the community, where everyone could feel comfortable to come in & discuss their own personal ideas with like-minded artists that were there to help bring the best out of a design & not only give the client what they wanted but hopefully a piece of art better than they had imagined.

I am originally from Belgium and moved to New Zealand 5 years ago. I love the mountains and any mountain sport.
I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil, and have a big passion for tattooing and creating art. I put a lot of care into designing each tattoo.
I specialise in fine-line tattoos and fine-line ornamental tattoos

Kiaora, I’m Himaya, Holy Skin’s newest apprentice. I was born and raised here in Aotearoa and have been fascinated with tattooing/ being tattooed for as long as I can remember. My drawing style has always been influenced heavily by street style and the culture of the life I’ve grown up around. That being said I’m open and excited to be learning/ trying new styles and ways of doing things when it comes to tattooing… it’s all part of the journey. To be here learning the skills of the trade from Nathan is truly a dream come true and I can’t wait for what the future holds.
